Rebonding is the hottest new thing to hit the hair
scene. Demand for it is so great, salons like The Hair Shop have had
to limit the number of customers wanting it each day.
"Rebonding
takes out the kinks that get in the way of dead-straight hair,"
says Sam Koh of The Hair Shop.
With rebonding hair stays straight even after shampoo. Straight hair
achieved through crimping disappears the minute you wash it. Rebonding
also frees you to colour, bleach or whatever, as early as a week after
the process - unlike straight perms, which would have damaged your
hair had you opted for any further process, like streaking.
So if you want to be the Queen of Sleek, have $400 to spare and don't
mind spending three to six hours sitting still, head now to the salon
nearest you with this latest offering.
Different
Strokes
Rebonding is
the answer if you want to straighten the natural waves in your hair.
Each hair type is different - it waves and fall differently, so the
way the rebonding 's done and the time taken varies according to the
hair character.
"For instance, if the hair has more 'bounce' with volume near
the roots, then we do not rebond the roots. Rebonding has to be done
to suit each woman's hair," explains Sam
